why do the gov't take products off the market that cause cancer but not cigs

the gov't pulls things off the market that cause cancer like certain skin bleaches...but they haven't hinted at taking cigarettes off the market. cigarettes not only cause the smoker cancer, but harmless ppl who don't smoke can get it.

Lets hope that never happens or our taxes will skyrocket as many programs are funded by the tax on smoking. Also if we did that then we would have to increase the subsitys to Tabacco farmers more than they are now. Even more expense.
