i was just responding to a discussion and happened to scroll back up to the top of the page...and being advertised for sale (and at what a great price too LOL) is...a salad. from McDonalds. for $2.99. with im assuming at least $3.00 for shipping. and the best part about this salad?! its UNOPENED! Yes thats right, nobody has taken a single bite out of this salad! its brand spanking new! course it might just be a year old. whats the weirdest thing you've seen for sale on ebay?

Most amazing thing I've seen was 3 boxes of Kraft Mac and Cheese (the powder kind) for $4.99 and $5.99 s/h!! That's a grand total of $10.98 for 3 boxes!! Considering it's like .99 at the store I can't imagine anyone paying that much for it...but according to the seller's feedback she's sold alot of it. Another one is a $70.00 rock...yup, I said Rock...someone actually bought it for $70.00. The seller stated it was from Maui and they had brought it back as a momento. It was about the size of an egg. That was insane!! I've seen ppl sell dirty, used socks and underwear, broken toys, shredded paper...you name it. They say ppl will buy anything... MERRY CHRISTMAS!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

http://cgi.ebay.com/McDonalds-Traveling-FRENCH-FRIES_W0QQitemZ230200311894QQihZ013QQcategoryZ1469QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This link is good for a few days at least until the auction is over. It is for McDonald's fries. There are 5 bids already. The guy will purchace the fries after the auction ends and send along with a journal to write about the fries adventures, (He hopes they will continue to travel around the world)

I've seen a few weird ones on eBay - a ghost for sale was probably the weirdest. Oh and someone else was selling his mother. The scary thing was both had bids, the ghost one was quite a lot if I remember rightly but it was a while ago now. I wonder how they were planning to deliver it? As for more tangible things someone on UK eBay sold a Tesco plastic carrier bag. They are given away free in the store so I'm not sure why someone would buy it but apparently they did.

Hehe, what a interesting thing. I am not sure that salad would be still good, but maybe you might try it. Lol the most interesting thing on ebay I have seen was a Ramen noodle soup and i think the price was about 30 cents and shipping probably $3. You know I was wonder, why someone would put sucha things there on ebay? What do you think? Do you have any explanation for it? you think it is just for fun, or??

since it does cost something (not sure how much) to list an item on ebay i dont THINK its just for laughs, but who knows lol! i think more often than not its ppl counting on the fact that a fool is born every minute..and they have money to spend!

LOL! I know, people sell some ridiculous stuff on there...although, I will admit, I've had some strange things on there, too...like one time I was looking through the wanted section, and some lady wanted dog and cat hair for some sort of kid's project she was doing, and since I have 2 cats and a dog, and i work with a dog groomer, we collected a bunch of garbage bags filled with pet hair and sold it to this lady...LOL i thought that was strange enough...but i think the salad takes the cake now...

lol, the funniest thing i ever saw was someone selling themselves (soul) for 2p no reserve, free posting, [duh]. I just dont really see the point of wasting your time listing this, but hey, someone bought it!

Well eBay is part of the internet, and the internet is like that: it's open to everything and everyone, and that's how it must be. That implies that there are always going to be weird or freaky people who make sell or say things that we cannot even believe, but it's fine i guess. Someone selling a pair of punctured tires, a used tissue....it doesn't matter, it's part of this world (the net) we all like so much.

Two items come to mind for weird that I've seen on ebay back when ebay was fresh and new someone had listed their human soul for sale the other time was some one selling a stick pen, like a regular cheapo write bros, or bic stick pen. used with bite marks. the sellers user name was tupid 1 he was very creative in his listing as a (stupid one) that he must have been brilliant!

Wow that is slightly ridiculous. I think the most ridiculous thing on there was a haunted doll. That's right you heard me they actually claimed the doll was haunted. I have no way of knowing the truth, but my question is would you if you were trying to get rid of this doll actually say that it's haunted? wouldn't that hurt your chances of getting rid of it?
