Based on my experience on laptop computers, here is a list of the best brands of laptops that I know: - Acer - Dell - hP (hewlett packard) - Compaq A few others are reasonable too, but not in the same league as those mentioned above: - Toshiba - Panasonic - LG ("life's good" brand)

My favorite laptop brand is Lenovo by IBM. I have not had one problem with this laptop since I have gotten it. It has a dvd/cd burner and well as a blue ray player and 1gb ram and 120gb hard drive. The only think with Lenovo that I don't like is that they are very costly this one if I had had to pay for it would have cost well over $2000. But on the lenovo website they have payment options so it makes it easier to get the "good" ones. LOL

There is a hard competition in the market. New technology is being introducing on day by day basis. Therefore it is difficult to decide that what the best brand of laptop is. Ever company claims that his production is the best of, but we as a customer will look the popularity of the company. Hp and dell are rapidly growing in production of laptops, but Intel is popular. So I will recommend it as the manufacturer of good machines.

i always recommend Lenovo of IBM because of quality and product support, yes they are costly but i think its reasonable enough, and then second one is Acer, also of very good quality and its very affordable to people especially here in the Philippines. Third brand would be Asus brand, they have many designs to choose from ranging from the Lambourgini to the simple ones.

Toshiba Portege R500 - An ultra portable from Toshiba, very thin, light and good battery life
Toshiba is pretty good and light thou a little expensive. Dell is cheap and heavier. IBM LeNovo is getting much attention and good reviews.
