Can Anyone Explain the Hannah Montana Craza

I can't understand the craze, but I'm old enough to remember kids acting the same way for the Beatles, and for Elvis Presley, and others. As a gramma, I've seen the Hannah tv show, and heard her sing, and I think that she's a great role model for girls. She's respectable, sings songs that have true meaning to them. She doesn't wear sexy clothing, like so many of the teen idols today, and doesn't talk trashy, or have questionable behaviour. I hope that success doesn't spoil her and ever turn her into a Brittney Spears type, OR a Lindsey Lohan lol. Her tv show is good, and when she gets into trouble, she has to pay for the consequences of her actions. I'm glad to see that they finally have somebody who's wholesome good, yet still popular, for girls to aspire to and admire. I'd much rather have the girls watching this kind of program than trying to emulate the Bratz type mentality. As far as paying exhorbatant amounts for the tickets and all, I think the scalpers have more to do with that than the actual producers of the show. Parents shouldn't fork out that kind of bucks for that kind of thing, but there again, people paid big bucks to go and see the Beatles and Elvis (and etc.)

I have a 9 year old and she is rarely into shows like this, but she loves Hannah Montana. She watches the show and sings her songs, basically she is Hannah Montana crazy just like most of the girls her age. I actually have watched the show with her several times and it is a good show. I can't see us spending hundreds to go to her concert anytime soon though.
