I was in HS when I got acquainted into these books. I was a fan I guess. My aunt back then encouraged me to read Nancy Drew books, but Nancy Drew then was way tough. I found SVT and SD books very entertaining, and they really fit my teenage mind back then. Have you read one of the books? Or any of the books?

I used to love Sweet Valley Twins, then Sweet Valley High. I also loved the Babysitters Club. I remember getting the book order form from school every month and ordering the next book in the series. I really enjoyed them and passed them on to my niece years later.

I was in middle school when I was introduced to the Sweet Valley Twins Books I think I read every single one of them. I remember the one girl was a party type girl and the other a brainiac. I never did read any of the Nancy Drew novels though.

I was already in HS when I really got so into Sweet Valley. In HS from Sweet Valley twins, I jumped into sweet valley high. Then when I reached my last year in HS, sweet valley high then had a TV series, which was so awesome. I mean, seeing the twins in tv was great. :)

My daughters both enjoyed reading these books, and also the Babysitters club. Good books! I have to confess, I've even read a few myself over the years, just to see what my kids were reading. I think they're well written and keep a reader in the target age group entertained. I grew up with Nancy Drew, and the Hardy Boys. Sweet Valley and these new ones just make the older ones seem more dated and from a bit of a different era. I think they're great, and I often get them for girls in that age group.

Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys -- they are OK books. I mean, I have read nancy drew once, but I never got into it. I guess, my aunt has been a nancy drew reader too thus she wanted me then to read nancy drew. :)

I was in grade school when I got into Babysitters Club. My friend, Tala, introduced me to that book. We even had role playing. I think I played the role of Kirsten. It was really fun pretending to be one of the babysitters. :)

I'm a huge fan of SVT. I also do read the BSC but I don't know about the SD. I start reading SVT when I was in grade school my cousin introduce it to me and I got fond reading it.
