Gladys Guevarra is Kuya's new celebrity housemate

After tirelessly singing with a band in several sing-along bars, Gladys successfully crossed over to TV and showcased her talent both in singing and stand-up comedy. For her perseverance and determination, this funnygirl was able to provide for her beloved family. But with great success came big controversies, and she had no other choice but to leave the country to take a breather. And now, a new Gladys is back to shed fun and laughter to all kapamilyas.
Gladys stepped out of the limousine with Bianca and greeted all the Kuyanatics. Upon Toni's request, the comedienne did her hilarious "Mahal" and "Annabelle Rama" impersonations. Gladys said that she is very excited as she begins a new chapter in her life and career, not just as a celebrity housemate but as a Kapamilya. Gladys then headed straight to the confession room where Kuya warmly welcomed her. For her first task, Gladys must judge the other celebrity housemates' performances on the karaoke.

whaat???? she moved to ABSCBN??? oh that's sad... i used to enjoy her in Eat Bulaga. despite her personal travails, i still love her voice! so powerful...anyway, well we cannot judge people, but i seem to feel bad about people transferring to ABS-CBN. i like GMA better, not for the shows but for the integrity of the people there. i think at ABS, there is a lot of baloney going on at the top. i guess i can say that i am a "kapuso" by heart. hehehe :-)

I was surprised too! I was expecting that Pokwang and Mahal would enter the house. I never thought its Gladys! Well maybe this is a career movefor her after the Janno Gibbs issue, it seems that they chose Janno over her. I like Gladys and I miss her in EB especially during Bulagaan

It was just as bad coz she was not able to stay there. I was surprised after failing to watched several episodes, I was surprised that she was not there anymore. It was sad coz I think I liked her better the Ethel Booba returning back. But I think she has lots of insecurity there that made her quite unpopular both from her housemates and the viewers.

really?...well, it is really a career move for gladys...i am a kapuso...i mean, i am not in the philippines and won't be able to see pinoy tv shows...but i still am...i used to enjoy watching gladys in eat bulaga...she's just funny...
maybe it is really because of that issue with janno and some other stuff and made her choose a new career path...it doesn't matter (i think) whether one star goes from one station to another...the impotant thing is they won't burn the bridge...i mean, they should say goodbye to one station formally...

She has no existing contract with them when she flew to the states with her boyfriend. Its just surprising that she went inside the house and her manager is the last to know according to a news report. I really like Gladys because she's really a good impersonator and she's also a businesswoman. The Janno linking ruined everything but it's not yet too late.
