If your best friend hadn't seen you for ten years, would she still recognize you

Would your classmates from high school or college recognize you now? If your best friend hadn't seen you in ten years would she or he recognize you now? I am positive that my best friends from school, would never recognize me now. First off, I'm not really skinny anymore. I was the skinniest kid you've ever seen. Now, not so much. And, my hair is entirely an different color. So, I suppose if my best friend hadn't seen me for ten years, then she would not even know me. What about you? How have you changed in the past ten or twenty years that would make you so unrecognizable?

Most likely yes. I haven't changed much at all over the years. A few extra pounds and my hair is longer, but for the most part I look the same. People who haven't seen me since I was a toddler still recognise it as me, I just don't change. LOL

I graduated High School in 1996. Some of those people I haven't seen since I graduated, until MySpace. I have my picture on there but not my maiden name, or even my first name. People recognized me right away. I haven't changed much at all. I still have blonde hair, weigh about the same and everything. I've run into people from High School when I go back home and they recognize me too. I look a little older, but not too bad. Maybe in another 10 years!

I think they would notice me. My hair is a little darker and I'm habitually pregnant, but they would know it was me. I've seen some friends in a shopping mall near where my parents lived and I grew up and we all knew each other right away. I think most of them would be shocked at the number of children surrounding me and would guess that most of them wouldn't suspect me to be the motherly type.

Let's see, ten years ago I was in college, so I had shorter hair and wore baggy "tom-boy" clothes most of the time. Now, my hair is longer and I wear clothes that fit; I also carry myself more confidentaly. But, I'm still the same weight and hair color, and my face hasn't changed too much, so I think that my good friends would still recognize me.

Some of my classmates and friends in college and I had a get together last week of October. Some of us have not seen each other for more than 25 years. When they had seen me, they recognized me easily and they said that I have not change much, still the same hair style and appearance, except for a little weight added. What I like among their comments is that they said I still look young for my age and I still look the same when we're in college.:D However, I didn't recognize easily the 3 of my classmates because they look different from the way they look when we were still in college. One has gained much weight and has long hair while she sported short hair when we're in college. The other one turned skinny so I didnt recognize easily coz she look older for her age in her present appearance. The others, I recognize easily coz they still look the same although with a little weight added and few grey hairs.

At the ripe old age of 60 I'm always surprised when I run into someone from my high school days who remembers me! I even ran into a teacher who walked up to me and introduced herself. I knew her right away too! It's an awesome feeling I can tell you that.

I have the same face that I use to have 10 years ago. Most of the people reconise me. it,s funny that you started that discussion because some recently I joined facebook and some people I went to elementery school with added me as their friend. I know they have found me throught some other friends, but I asked myself, how they reconise or remember me. I was a not a disturbibng child lol But Like I told you, I still have the same face even from when I was younger. I just look a little bit older :)

Hello there. I think my friends can still recognize me. Even though I've lost some weight, my trademark round face is still there. LOL My hair is also longer now. But as I mentioned earlier, no matter how much I've changed, my trademark round face is always there for my friends to recognize and identify. =P

Hi,there! Well,if we were very close friends in the past days, maybe she/he will recognize me but I can't say that's for sure. I've changed a lot in these ten years so it's not that easy for others to recognize me only by the past impression. I think for the one who I haven't seen for ten years,it's possible that I also can't recognize at the first sight. I had such experiences before. We were so young at that time and our society as well as our life have changed a lot. We've also changed pretty much:) Thanks for the discussion and have a nice day!

I think that a couple of my old schoolfriends would recognize me. I am not sure if I would recognize many of them though.

Last mounth, when I went on my way home. a one call me nearby. I was amazing! Can you believe it, there she is my elementary school class mate. I was not only recognize her immediately, but also spek her name. I could not believe that I can speak her name whitout a second.

I think that feeling was very great at that time.I have a common experience and i will never forget it.In fact, there is only a little unforgotten memory, but it is it that make you warm.Just like when you stand in the snow,a girl gives you a smile, and you feel Spring is coming.

I guess they would still recognize me. Nothing really change much from my appearance. Almost all of them are still the exact same thing, but maybe just my hair.

Hi!beautyqueen Yes my friends would recognize me.I have'nt changed much.I happened to bump into a college mate of mine.It so happened we were both inside a lift. This girl(!) was with her hubby.I looked at her and just never recognized her.She kept looking at me.The moment we stepped out of the lift she came up to me and called me by my name.I was surprised. She said she hesitated to talk to me as my trade mark long was not there.I used to have very long hair which I have cut now.Except for that she said there was no change in me.She had to literally introduce herself as she had changed so much.

I attended the picnic for my 20 year class reunion over the summer. And there was only one person who was no longer recognizable, most of us had either lost or gained weight and hair or changed our hair color. The unrecognizable one had been in a traumatic car accident and had to have plastic surgery to repair damage and cut down on scarring! But, she looked better than most of us did that day! I don't think that I have changed very much over the years except for dropping 50 pounds due to stress in my life. ONce I lost it I have tried very hard to keep it off.
