I think there has been some kind of mistake, they email me and let me know what the bill is, First of all we have Local Phone use, internet Service and 2 cell phones, our bill is $358.00 We are suppose to pay it by Dec. 19th. don't you think that is extremely high? I do, well, I didn't mention that we were behind, but that is a lot to pay, don't you think? Actually the bill should be 200.00 and no more a month. Tell me you thoughts? How much are you paying a month. and if it includes all this is that about right?~~~~Thanks~~~~

Ouch! We have 2 cell phones, internet and local phone service only, and ours never goes about $110 a month! We don't use the cell phones that much, and when we do, we make calls during our free hours. Hubby has his in the morning, and mine is in the afternoon!

The 2 cell phones alone are like 95.00 then local calls about 40.00 or less then internet about 35.00 bill should be no more than 191.00 to 200.00 a month. everything included.

maybe you should do what I did when I first moved out of home. Every time I made a call, I put 50 cents in a jar. If it was to a mobile or long distance, I put in 2 dollars, even if the call was quick. I found that not only did it cover the call costs, but it also paid for the line rental too!

Yes honey, I think it's rocking high. :( Try looking at the bill more closely. It may be that this $358 is including the $200 you owed them last month. Usually they will compound the figure and send them as the new bill. To make sure they don't cut off your line, you can at least pay for the owed sum first.

For one thing the bill is sent out every 28th, day of the Month. I do owe a balace, but this is still to high, I am going to call them today, you know that can be sneaky sometimes if you don't watch them. I am going to detest this.

OUCH!! That is high. I have a pre pay cell phone, I don't use my phone to chat on. I only have it so the kids can get ahold of me if they need to. I have my internet with the cable. So I just have a regular phone bill. I would call them up and have them explain to me why it is so high. Did You run over minutes or have penelties for being behind. Good luck getting it figured our and getting it paid. You do know your earnings from Mylot aren't going to help out, hehe.

Funny Lady! you know that made me laugh out loud. I am going to call the phone company right now. I did get my grand-daughter, to download tis music, when someone calls, these are my favorite things by John Coltrane, but I think that was only two dollars. I am calling them right now and raise some hell! one thing about AT&T, they bill you in advace for one month. I owe a balace but it still shoudn't be that much. thanks for stopping by.

2 cell phones - 400 minutes a month each and no other crapola - no games, no texting no pictures about $90 a month. Basic phone bill - $25 a month - unlimited long distance and all the bells and whistles, it is broadband phone. Broadband - $50 a month. If you are behind 358 might not be so much. Time to see where you can cut corners. My local phone bill was as much as my broadband and a standard carrier phone bill. By using broadband phone I am basically getting the broadband for free.

If you have two cell phones, the roaming charges alone could do that to you in a month. What is you high speed internet service? over $50? Get two of those new flat fee cell phones with no fancy stuff on them. They are unlimited minutes for a flat fee of $30 but they don't take pictures or go on the internet.

We have two computers, one digital phone, and our cable. We pay about $200 for all three. I have my own cell phone and I pay a little over $30 a month including taxes. So it could be that someone was yapping a bit too much on the cell phone, and since you did not pay it on time, they added interest charges. I would expect with cell phone as well as local phone, that $200 is a bit low. Mind you as the service becomes common, it might be that the rates will go down. Is your long distance included or is it extra? That would make a difference.

Cellphone contracts $$ - Cellphone contracts hide lots of hidden expenses.

people, life, $$, day to day issues, electronics, bills
That is outrageous. Either someone hit the wrong switch perhaps. If not, investigate the cellphone contracts. *The contracts for cellphones are complicated and the companies love slipping in extra charges. They are still considered a luxury item, and the roaming charges plus extra minutes can kill a phone bill.

I do not know. I have never had a phone bill that high. It sounds like my sisters bill. Her problem is that she has too many different features on her phone. When she finally got the internet, it really sent her bill over the top. So now, she is taking her time paying it. She says she will get rid of some of the features, but I guess that they are so use to them that she can't.

i had a cell phone bill one time that was 900 dollars and that was because of roaming charges i moved to a place that didn't haave the particular provider that i was under and that bill was in one month you can ask them to send you a detailed bill with all the transactions and calls on it

That's so horrible. That's so expensive. Perhaps you have made a lot of international calls? Perhaps you have to double check it to avoid any mistakes.

No Sweet-heart I haven't made any International calls. these are calls made in my area, and for cell phones, I don't make long distance calls till after 9 pm, or it is free on the weekend. that is only for the cell phone.

Wow that is really high! My phone bill is usually $80.00 a month. I have email and internet, text messaging, voice mail and everything pretty much. Did you go over the details? My phone company sends me a bill with all the charges. I always look over that.
