Here in Minnesota USA we had a nice snowfall of 8 inches in my area. I love taking photos and I really love snow as well. This tree is in a yard across the street from me. I love pine trees of any variety with snow covered branches. It's serene looking to me. I wished I had a tree like this in my yard as I would have a thousand lights at least in it for the holidays. Do you love winter scenerey at all? Do you have a photo to share of a winter scene that you took at all?

This is a beautiful photo. I think Aussies are fascinated by pictures of snow & the environment. Obviously these pine trees cope really well with the cold & snow.
I spotted a number of photos from you in discussions today, & I hope I have time to respond to them all.

Well here's another photo of the snow storm from Saturday then for you. Hee hee. This was taken about an hour into the snowfall. You can see it's falling faIRLY WELL. i LOVE THE SNOW STORMS A LOT. This is my street in front of my house.

What a beautiful picture-postcard type pix. I love such pictures but being from a summer country I hate winter. Maybe because we are not so well-equipped to handle winter here, but I have never seen snowfall live and it is one of my wishes to do so. Anyway, the tree does look perfect for Christmas, exactly as we see in fairytale books. Has it grown there or has it been installed?

Well in Minnesota we are always ready for snow. Hee hee. We have had snow in May even. Hahahaha! Thanks also. It would be a great post card except for their van in the driveway.

I love winter. I think snow is the most beautiful gift from God. Everything looks so clean and perfect. Here is Ohio we are supposed to get six to eight inches today and tomorrow. I hope they are right. Your picture is wonderful. Pines are so gorgeous when they are flocked with snow. Enjoy you day.

Cool deal. We have another snowfall expected Tuesday of a few more inches as well. I can't wait. The snow is laready turning brown. HAHAHA!

i admire you so much ,but i have seen a wonderful scence in my country. it was in jilin province in china . that winter ,all the trees were covered by the snow and ice,so wonderful it was. i never seen that before. please come to here.

covered in ice with the branches droopping from the weight.

Grandpa Bob, I just looked at and rated your last photo of the house with christmas lights when it was snowing. I admire your photo abilities. You do take great photos. I will be commenting and rating this photo also. I know it will be great as well.
We have not gotten any rain this year. I am in Sunny CA so we are just brown. I do not live where all the fires are thank goodness. I feel so sorry for all those folks who had to live through all that.

I also like to see snow on the ground but here in the UK we do not get much anymore. The experts put it down to global warming which is probably true. When I was a child we had snow every year and us kids like to make long slippy slides on the pavements. Mum rushed out at night and put salt on them
