Do you give your children/spouse gifts from your pets?

It occured to me as I was wrapping presents this morning, that half of the gifts I am giving to my son and husband (the not so big gifts) are from our pets! Do you enjoy this? Do you think it's weird?

No, I don't think it's weird, my Chesapeake bay retriever always gives me a Chessy calendar for Christmas. And she always gives her 'daddy' some little something for Christmas too. She also has her own stocking hung along with ours, with a little pocket on front, says 'Dear Santa, I can explain...'. She also gets wrapped gifts under the tree. She is our baby, since we've both been married before and I have two daughters and he has one, she is the 'our's' in the picture. And I might add, the only baby we will have!! lol

Haha. We have stockings for all our animals too! One is for the cats (5!), one is for the fish and mouse. Friends come over, see all the stockings and wonder... but we're animal freaks. It's good to see other people do this as well, makes me feel less silly haha.

I've always had stockings for my dogs, and my cat when I had one. At one time I had 5 dogs and one cat and each had their own stocking. We did it for our dogs when I was growing up too, my mom even had a wreath for our dachsund that had ribbons to tie 25 milk bones to it, he got one each day. And my sister has gifts wrapped under her tree for her two dachsunds. My daughter has stockings for her dogs as well. And they all send gifts to each other, the dogs that is! lol

We have always recieved a gift from our toy poodle at Christmas and Santa always fills her stocking and she knows which stocking is hers.I think it's Fun and after all our pets are Family too.( If a dog could shop for us I wonder what they would buy??) LOL.
