I got the job!

I will be starting tomorrow on my new job. I will be writing the policy and procedure manual for a sleep lab. I also will be setting up some spread sheets and some quality assurance classes for them. I think I am just what the office manager needed. The office manager knows what to do for a doctor's office but not how to run a sleep lab. I use to be a supervisor of a sleep lab. I think we will work well together. I will also be scoring sleep studies on an occasional day that I feel well enough to go into the office. The best part of the job is I will be working from home. I will be working 45 hours a month and have time to rest in between. I hope I can handle this and not get sick again. I have some illness that the doctors do not know what it is but when I am ill I have dizzy spells and other bad symptoms. I am so happy to be back in the work force again. It feels so good to be needed and wanted for my brains again.

I am so sorry to hear that you have been sick. I have missed you. It does not seem fair that we are so young and so ill. You are younger than I am and sicker than I am. Not fair at all.

Sitting on the computer having fun on mylot and playing games is great. I can get up and do what ever. But sitting at the computer working for 2 to 4 hours straight is hard work. I have been so tired. I have gotten a great start to what I need to do. I have put together on excel spread sheet, writen 4 mission statements to see which ones they like, and set up policy pages and asked them which one they like. I have done a lot of research also. I go into the office for 4 hours on Monday so I can get a lot of questions answered. I hope I do not get to run down but I will be giving this a go.

That's great! Congratulations on your new job. I'm sure you'll be great and they'll be so glad to have you on their team. It's awsome that you get to work from home too, that will make it so much easier for you if you do end up feeling sick. I hope you'll feel great though!

I did my first two hours this morning and it wiped me out. Just using the mental power was tiring. I took a long nap afterwards. It does feel good to be needed.

I knew that you would get the job and I am very happy for you. The entire time I was reading about it, I kept saying that it sounded like something you could do at home. That is the best part. I know that you were telling me before that you had an illness and it made you feel dizzy. If you get the chance and you feel like it. Send me a PM about your symptoms. I have a friend that has something that sounds like that. She feels dizzy, her face and ears turn red. She starts sweating. It is really weird. She said that the doctors don't know what is wrong with her.

I will write you later about my symptoms. I started the job today. I have already set up one excel spread sheet and did a lot of research. The person I will be working with does not know how to write a policy and procedure manual. She also does not know what the prameters need to at. On the other hand I need to go in and get the specifications of the way they do things at this lab. Today I ended up with a lot more questions than I had answers. I need to spend more time in the office at first I think. I guess I will need to go in on Monday to get more info.

And I also hope that you would recover form your sickness completely so that you can concentrate on your job.
