AUSTRALIAN TOUR IS nearing . INDIAS PERFORMANCE is improving after the series loss against AUSTRALIA.INDIA won ODI Series against Pakisthan.I think it will be a tough outing for INDIA.Bcoz AUSTRALIAN pitches offer lot of pace and bounce.Batsmen with high technical skills will only survive. So it is important for INDIAN SELECTORS to select the right combination of batsmen in both test and ODI . I think VVS LAXMAN should be included for the ODI series v/s AUSTRALIA. Bcoz he had good performance against them. And last time INDIA visited AUSTRALIA he scored 3 centuries in a week.what is ur opinion this topic.

I think everytime india makes overseas travel, it is really hard for India to perform better.lol. It was with Sa, West Indies and leave Australia. India very rarely plays good against Australia. That too in Australia. And yes, selectors should make the right choice.

to win in Australia,, all senior batsmen should play well and one pace bowler should perform outstandingly well, because we cannot expect kumble alone to win us the matches as he has done all his life, someone should help him out.. for me RP singh and zaheer should bowl out of their skins to make any kind of impression down under.... http://mylitemoments.blogspot.com/

I dont believe laxman will be chosen for aussie tour, as his fitness and fielding is low and he is not known to play many lofted shots. His style wont suit ODIs

I don't think that India even has a chance against Australia. Though India's performance has improved a lot in the recent time but still India lacks one main thing, i.e., Bowling. If India wants to win the series against the Australians then it is very important to improve the bowling attack. The pace bowlers that India has are not of great quality. I think India should call some young and talented bowlers and try them against the Australians. Who knows India might win the Test series.

I think Australian series is definitely going to be very tough for the Indians. I don't think Laxman should be there in the ODI game, though he would definitely be a part of the test team. I think the ODI team that we had here was almost right with one or two minor changes notably dropping Ganguly, they can give Aussies a run for their money. I think the test series might be a closer affair this time as the Indians seem to be more balanced now after the England tour. Cheers! Ram

Indian players are as good as and even better than their Aussie counterparts. But the Aussies have always reigned supreme. Whoever be the players, it will be discipline and determination that will win India matches.

I think still has to improve a lot in the bowling department before it goes for the Aussie tour.Especially in the second test ,Indian bowling was not up to the mark.Munaf patel was just spiritless and it seemed bowling seemed to be a burden for him.this lack of enthusiasm really affected the result of the test match against pakistan.I dont think such flaws can be further tolerated in Australia.

well this is true that if india failed to win the match then most of the responsibility goes to our bowlers, but again it also shows that the wicket was so easy to bat on. the pakistani batsman failed to do that specially the top order so they scored less than us. but still they won the game when they avoided the follow on. full credit goes to misbah. he played really well along with akmal. he played consistently well in the series and really made a lot of difference to the series. now we can gowe to the next with a hope of change in results. and in the second inns also yonis and yusuf played really well to save the day and confirm a drw for pakistan.
