666?

It's so funny that people don't read the bible because if they did they would see that it says the 666 was a mirrored and flipped image so it's actually 999.

I started a topic about this number several months ago. Only because I read online that it was actually 616 not 666. then there are those who said it was actually 999 and every 1000 years the devil is released. Also, that the anti christ works in marketing instead of being a politician. You see no matter how many interpretations we can't find who is the antichrist anyway. I just hope nobody will associate that number with gifts or weddings because I work in that field and I love it. when it comes to your names then your parents must have thought it's a lucky number that's why they gave you the name

I believe that n umbers are the basis for everything life, but I wouldn't read too much into the whole 666 thing. I personally, do not believe that 666 is the "mark of the devil/beast". However, I do think that at one time people were scared of a lot of things and the 666 helped them explain things around them, like why Nero was so evil.

No, this number means nothing to me. It is just a number. I have heard that there was a mistake in the translation and that the actual number of the beast is 616. So all those people who fear 666 are in for a surprise if it turns out to be the wrong number.

mathematical numbers are said to be an entity of life... be it golden number PHI(1.687) or the devil's no.(666) and many more..... but it if mathematical no.s r involved there ought to be some proof of it.... like it is of PHI.. which was first discovered by leonardo da vinci..... n many have proved it scientifically thro' the years..... but there arent any for 666.... but it can be true or false.... depends on the way how u take ur life... but how can a no. be considered to be a bad omen.......?????

i do believe in the mark of the beast but do not believe that it will have anyhting to do with the numbers 666 i am also not very superstitious i do believe that there is a mark of the beast but i think that its is going to come in the form of a computer chip implant simular to what they are putting in dogs now so they can be tracked...

ah don't be superstitious. The book of Revelations is a very strange book if you look at the bible as a whole. I think John of Patma had these visions and wrote them down. The numbers cannot be proven to be this or that. There are Billions of good and honest people in this world that are not Christian and know nothing about this, and I don't think they would come to greater harm than other good people if the world ended tomorrow. So many things have been said what the book of Revelations means, volumes could be filled. I don't think anyone really knows.

I would say that I'm not really superstitious, but if it's got something to do with evil, I wouldn't like to think about it and I would ignore it. My sister tells me a lot about this whenever I see the '666' number on car plate numbers. I just don't like seeing the number. (^_^) Peace to us!
