well i went to the hospital to be induced on dec. 3rd at 5am. got induced at 6am. started having contractions at about 6:20am. they got really strong at about 9am. and i got an epidural(couldnt take it anymore)/ at about 10am. i did really well with the pushing considering i couldnt feel anything and could barely move, but i ended up with an episiotomy(sorry cant spell). and the doc had to use forceps because she wasnt coming down fast enough, her heart rate was dropping. but she was okay, she was just holding onto her cord. she is still in the hospital, but her bilirubin count has come down more, and looks like shell be home in like 3-4 days. keep praying for her, and me...that ill be strong and have the will power to keep moving on even without her by my side. thanx everyone!

Congratulations on your new baby! Try not to become to stressed out over the bilirubin. My daughter's was too high and even though they let her come home, we had to take her back to the hospital twice before it was down enough to stop the visits. We were told to keep her in front of the window because natural light does wonders for her Jaundice. You and your little girl are definitely in my thoughts and prayers! She'll be home soon. :-) Btw, she's adorable!

congratulations on your new bundle of joy! I've just given birth about 2 months ago to a baby boy. I was in the hospital from 1am and was 4cm dilated. I had to take epidural as I just couldn't imagine another 6cm more to go! At 3am, the doc has burst the water bag to induce it but by the time it was 4pm, I was only 5 cm dilated! At the end, after about 14 hours labour, I went through a c-section which was only about 1/2 hour. Visit my humble little blog on my boy at www.isaac-khng.blogspot.com.

Congrats on your new little bundle of joy. It is hard being away from the baby but at least when it's time for her to come home you will have all the time you want with her. Good luck and once again congradulations.
