current or voltage

question: when somebody electicuted, what really kills him is it the voltage or the current? any opinion?

Actually voltage kills a person. you touch both the ends of a dry cell. that is also a voltage and current but the voltage is very low that is why you don't get electricuted

I've never really been a physics person in my life, so don't count on my answer to be 100% correct by all means. For me, I think that it is the current that kills someone when they are electrocuted because the electric particles actually passes through the person. Voltage on the other hand, if I am not mistaken, is just the difference in electrical potential between two separate points. Maybe voltage also plays an important role in causing the movement and migration of electrical particles, but still I think the current has a bigger role.
