Drifting... Initial D style

Drifting - Drifting a car is no easy feat.
They sure make it look easy in the movies.

Drifting refers to a driving technique when the car's rear slip angle is greater than the front slip angle, and the front wheels are pointing in the opposite direction to the turn with the driver is controlling these factors. Keiichi Tsuchiya made his debut as a drift racer after being interested in the drifting techniques performed by Kunimitsu Takahashi. His used his Toyota AE86 to practice his techniques on the mountains. I am wondering is he the inspiration for the popular Japanese comics, Initial D? As I search more on the web, I realized Malaysia is also into Drifting sports with modified versions of the Proton. This is really news to me. I have no idea that Malaysia is home to some Drifting competitions as well. Can anyone tell me where are the Drifting races held in Malaysia? Any websites to see? After watching the movie Initial D, and following the comics series, as well as the cartoon series of the same title, are you keen to know what it is like to be Drifting a car? Are there schools that actually teach these techniques to people who wants to learn?
