Liverpool turned in another brilliant Champions League performance. As I had earlier mentioned the loss against Reading actually worked for Liverpool and again it was Stevie G who put them ahead through a penalty. Torres doubled the lead, already repaying a huge amount of his transfer fees this season!! Kuyt and Babbel added two more in the second half to complete the scoreline. It looked as if it was men against boys for most of the match. Your comments! Cheers! Ram

but still, they should have done better in beating Readings. Come on guys... Readings are way down in the league. It's a team that our team should be beating and move up the ladder. Who will know Arsenal lost in that weekend too? Damn, I really wanted Liverpool to maintain their unbeaten EPL runs and actually move closer to Arsenal. We haven't won the EPL for a very very long time. It's time we do it. I have no doubts that Liverpool will do well in CL, this is because Rafa is experienced in the Europe. But EPL is a different league. They should have done better. I'm still disappointed.

That is true, but the tinkerman in Rafa is always going to be a risk for Liverpool if they want to win the EPL. To win leagues you need a constant team that gels together. With the constant tinkering, Rafa gets inconsistent performance from the team. That is why a 4-0 suddenly becomes a 1-3 against another team!! Cheers! Ram

Also, in the Reading match the refreeing decisions went against Liverpool more or less. I thought there was a valid penalty claim after they had drawn level 1-1 and if that claim had been given the result might have been different. Cheers! Ram

I personally think the team for the Reading game was first team. All the players are the match winning players. I guess it was just an unlucky day for Liverpool, but still. . . . . Liverpool always lost to the team that we should be winning against. That's the sole reason why we can't win the EPL previously. I hope that will change in this season. =D

Bravo Liverpool ! Yesterday I was doubtful with Liverpool players performance after lossing against Reading last weekend, but lastnight they shaw us that Liverpool is the Great Team with the champion tradition. The players was a dream team to get the title, so we hope to Mr. Rafa don't make another players arround that cause the performance of team will be unconstant.

I believe the goal at the very start really settled them down and from there onwards it was all one way traffic!! Cheers! Ram
