Just heard on Oprah (never watch the show, but heard it while I was rewinding a VHS tape to get ready to record Blue's Clue's for my grand daughters..) that their statistics show that not only is Macon Georgia their top rated city for watching the Oprah Winfrey show since it went national in 1986, , but at 4:00 monday through friday, 45% of the Macon, Georgia population is in front of their TV watching Oprah Winfrey Show. Don't know anyone in Macon, but I just have to ask... are you serious?!?!? Nearly half the town is in front of a TV somewhere every day at 4:00?!!?!!? I know I am not a TV watcher but good grief - half the town???? Where are you when Oprah is on??!?!

Where am I when Oprah is on? Watching ANOTHER channel if I'm anywhere near a television. I can't stand that woman. I think it's entirely possible that she's the anti-christ. (I'm only kidding, but I really do not like her at all.) And please, let's keep her OUT of the political arena!

I think the woman is just way too full of herself and her own place in the world. She had made entirely too much money, for one thing. It makes me utterly sick to see that ONE woman has billions while other's are struggling to make ends meet right in her own back yard. Then when she decides to build a school, she goes to freaking Africa to do it! She wasn't born, nor is she from Africa. And the crap she gives away.... what the f*ck? She gives seven to ten thousand dollars worth of stuff away to people who really don't need it. Why not get all that stuff and other things like FOOD and CLOTHING and go out and give them to families who TRULY need them? What family needs a freaking refrigerator with a TV in it?!?!?!?! I just don't think that a lot of what she does makes a lick of sense and it causes a lot of resentment. I don't care for her at all and never really have. My Mom used to just love her, but even she doesn't like her anymore.

hmmm....I don't think I'll ever move to Macon, GA if that's the case. I can imagine the mentality of those people...lol. I live in Boston and I'm probably getting my dinner ready and am sitting here in front of my pc with the Chiller Channel or Still Standing on tv. Oprah? I don't think so!

I hear it is a beautiful place, but when the town shuts down for a tv show - of any kind - that is pretty .. humm.. well, you get the picture. And to shut down for Oprah? I wonder how many of those same people watch an hour of news every day!
