i just added "student" to my interests a while ago. mind you, i'm 35 years old, for a long time have not been a student in an educational institution. but the reason why i added this is because i realized just now, that i am, still, a student. i am a student of life itself. i still have a lot to learn in my journey through life. i still have a lot of tests to complete, challenges to come upon. i still have assignments to do, quizzes to take, books to read. so that someday when i graduate from this life of mine, i will come out with flying colors.

You are right. Many people do not realise it, though. They feel education ends with college. One of the secrets to a successful life is to keep on learning and to never stop. It keeps the brain sharp, active, and alert and also brings many opportunities your way. It is impossible to stop learning. You need to learn more and more to update yourself because the world is moving at a rapid pace. I have not really stopped learning. I guess I will never stop.

First of all, I'd like to point out that your profile says you are 87 years old:) Everyone is a student of life and their life experiences. I'm 32 and I joined college last year. Besides academics, that has also taught me a whole lot about life and organization and managing everything (I have 2 kids and a home to manage). But what you said, is absolutely true. We a re more a student of life than anything else we take up.
