Do you ever get burned out from spending too much time on a web site?

Well, can't say as I've gotten that bad yet....yet....yet... But I do probably spend to much time here, but then again, I have all my chores done and my friends are here so it isn't like I have time otherwise with friends. I don't watch TV so I compare my time on the PC with my husbands time in front of the tV -and he is in front of the TV more than i am on the PC! He gives me a hard time about how much time I am on, but I tell him, "you shut off the tv and I'll get off the PC". He hasn't taken me up on that yet! It is rather quiet after that challenge tho!

Well i spend a lot of time on all money making sites. And it stress me out sometimes because i work 47 hours a week and then an hour of money making sites in the morning and immediately wehn i get home from work. So i think it´s burning me out sometimes. So i´m really looking at sites which doesn´t take too much time and quit those who are taking lots of times except for mylot because mylot is awesome.

oh yes i feel that too lol, when i was still new here on mylot i have feel what you have feel and i think i done same funny actions and lately i am into blogging and it's like it worsen more my insomnia because i cant help but to stay at the computer and it's like in the morning i couldnt think normal as all in my head is the things that i would like to write and who have respond to me. Sometimes when i say it's enough and i have to get a break it does not effect because when i see the computer i always find myself turning it on .

well i never budned abot this because i never spend so much time i just spend few time here i know if i will spend more and more time here i will lose my studies.

Yes I have several sites where I get burned out and mylot is one of them. Some days I feel like posting responses and other days I can't be bothered LOL

well i would say once in a blue moon not much,thats coz i hardly surf sites juzz on mylot and yahoo,so i do realize that how much ppl do get burned out while spending a lot of time on juzz one site they might be a lot on surfing sites

lol. That is funny! The same thing happened to me when i was a teenager and i used to spend all my time on IRC, its one of the first instant chats, possibly THE first. I woke up one morning with my hands in the air thinking i was typing lol. It really tells you you spend too much time at the keyboard doesn't it?! I was on mylot over a year ago for a few months, and i was on here every day, typing away and typing away, and i DID get burned out and bored of the site so i left. But now that i have had a break, I have been coming back everyday, every time i get a few spare minutes. lol i hope i dont get burned out again. I really do like it here. It's just you get tired of the same questions, and its hard to come up with something that someone else hasn't already re-vistited 6 times!!

I spend way to much time on Mylot.I always log into mylot everyday,and i stay on for a few hours.I really enjoy answering and responding to discussions.I only answer the ones that i can give some feed back on,I feel that i am not doing the person judgtist other wise.I do the same thing,every morning i get up crab a cup of coffee and mylot here i come.Its really pityful LOL.I really have things i need to be doing right this minute but here i am ....

I do believe that myLot is the only site I spend a great deal of time on, ctry. I have pared down the amount of time I spend on other sites. Occasionally, I will visit one of my other sites for a good while because I feel that I have been neglectful toward them. I started back spending more time on Yahoo! Answers because I still enjoy going there.
