do u rate positive or nagitive?

well guies i am starting this discussion after a long time because i was trying to find some thing. so, today i finded a topic. we rate the everyone as positive and negative . what u think when rate them. well first i read the discussion ,response or commet,etc and if i like then i rate the positive otherwise i rate negative.
what about u guies and gals what do u do im this matter?
do u rate or not?if not then why?

YOu should not dislike a person who writes opposite to what you wrote. People have their own way of thinking and you cannot expect every one to think in your way. Many a times I had given Best Response to those who wrote equally opposite view to my views. This is a forum and you take everyone's view into consideration before arriving at conslusion. Hi there
I never rate anybody negative....why should we unless the person has really been hurting us. But to rate negative just because you don't like the discussion, is not right according to me because what looks wrong to you may be right from other people's point of view.....Everythng is possible in this world.
I care only about the discussion that I am replying and I always mark them positive.

If it's a well thought out and put together post then I will give it a positive whether I like what the user is saying or not. Giving a negative isn't for posts you don't like or disagree with. A negative is for posts that are poor quality, abusive, or thoughtless.

Hi simplyman! that's right I think. we should not rate people either positive or nagative, but try to put some things into consideration. What I consider first is the nature of discussion of that person, followed by his or her response. Thanks

I rate positive when I can and especially if its excellent. Negatives I only rarely dole out, and its to people who made a terrible post or response.
Its too bad the star can be vandalized by someone who can't debate or just someone being a clown on a whim.
