As an agent of agent of change, how do you go about fund raising?

Hi friends! I am curious to know this; If you are an NGO (Non Governmental Organization) work or an agent of change, how do you go about fund raising after designing your project? I participated in an essay tagged "how I can create a positive change" and emerged as one of the best essay here in Kaduna State, Nigeria. Fundraising part of my project is much challenging that the rest. Do you have any advice on how I can go about having a successful fundraising? I will appreaciate you response. Thanks in advance.
