Will "Gargoyles" come back?

I'm European and I finally saw the series of "Gargoyles", I love all of their cartoon episodes, a perfect balance between reality and myth. Unfortunately I've discovered that Walt Disney company has canceled it and this made me very angry. Why is has done this? Can't it see that a lot of "Gargoyles" fans will get upset because of this? Are there any chances that "Gargoyles" will come back?

My son likes that show. I thought it had been canceled a long time ago and he has just been watching re-runs. Has it just recently been canceled?

Well no, by saying that I'm European I get the old news kind of late. They are canceled from a long time but I want to know why and if there are any chances that it will be back.
