Have you ever asked someone to do something crazy

and to your surprise they agreed? When my husband and I were looking on the web for a car we had found one we were interested in. However the car was some 40 miles away and with us only having a single cab truck at the time, either my husband or I would have to go by ourselves to look at it while the other stayed home and watched our kids. I told my husband that he should be the one to go as he's the one that knows about cars, but he wanted me to go and get the first look to make sure it was worth his time to go see it. Neither of us wanted to go alone to look at this car. LOL Had it been closer to home, my husband would have offered to go, I'm sure, but since it was further away he wanted to wait until he went to work in the area. During this time I had communicated with the owner of the car via email for a few days and told him that we couldn't see it over the weekend, but that my husband would be working near his home on Wednesday. The owner of the car was fine with this and he agreed that my husband could see it after he (my husband) got off work. Well, when Tuesday night came, my husband found out the Wednesday job wasn't ready and that he would have to go the opposite direction that day. But my husband promised me he'd go look at it after work, as I already told the guy my husband would be there that day. My husband had more work that day than anticipated and then to top it off there was a traffic jam. As the day got later the man emailed and asked if my husband was still going to be there that day as he and his wife had plans that evening...near my home! Well, seeing this I got the guts to ask this man if it would be possible for him to drive the car to my place as he would be passing through anyway. He agreed! His wife drove one vehicle and he drove the car to my house that evening. So my husband and I were able to check it over together. Woo hoo! It's funny I had joked around with my husband a few days beforehand about asking this man to bring the car to our place, but we never imagined that this man would do such a thing. For those of you that are wondering this is the same car I bought back in September :) So, have you ever asked someone to do something crazy? What was it, and did they agree? (Remember to keep your responses clean people. Thank you! :))

Things we do for love. - Follow your heart not your nose :)
nothing comes to mind that I've asked someone to do.. but I was asked to move halfway across the country with someone whom i really didnt know that well, but i knew i wanted to get to know better. . and i accepted, and i married him, and we still live away from home. lol. I only knew him for 2 and a half months, maybe 3. . Is that sort of crazy? seems it to me now, but didn't at the time.

I don't think I have ever asked anyone to do anything really crazy. I'm glad that it worked out that he was able to bring the car to you and that you bought it. :) Hope you're enjoying it.

Hmm... you are referring to the Taurus you bought recently right? Well, if I were to be put in the same situation as the man who sold you the car, I would have obliged as it is not really going out of my way to sell the car off. Hmm... have I ever ask anyone to do something like that for me? I cannot really recall at this moment. I am sure there are times that I do. I just cannot remember any particular one to post. Will get back when my memory serves me better!

Last wednesday I accompany my friend Jean to buy some goods, but as we finished the shopping,he said:"My god!I have forgot to buy some paper,so shall you go and get it?" Oh!What a funny man he is! As there were lots of people in the market,so I feeled it was a boring thing alway go there... yeah!He just make me crazy!!!
