PoTC3:Do you know the real ending that's on the dvds?

You can understand the ending only if you buy the DVD: after the first ten years, Will is free to go with Elisabeth since the curse lasted only for ten years if your love was faithful enough to wait for you.
*groans* what about showing it in the real movie?? Do I have to buy a dvd to know how it ends?

You have to watch past the credits on the dvd.

in the movie shown in theatres after the credits there was a scene of Will returning to Elisabeth...but no one explained it was forever ^^

I watched this movie on theater so i saw the complete ending
but there is nothing to loose if you have not seen the end because it was more or less obvious that Will returns to Elisabeth

I agree with you Rowena, how come they didn't show it in the movie!!! Everyone ended sort of doubtful of the ending because we didn't agree as to Will's fate. I didn't even know what the DVD showed until I read your post, so I think I'll have to go rent it now. Stupid director/producers/actors that can't even show the people how it really ends!!!

Okay, you have to stay through the bloody credits to get the epilogue scene. Savvy?
And William will always be the Captain of the Flying Dutchman unless someone gets the heart from Elizabeth and stabs it, then that person has to be the captain of the FD. get it?
