Were you able to get a Wii or the raincheck? How do you feel about waiting in line for 3 hours like my brother?

We waited in line for a couple of hours to find that the store only received 5 units. I went to a few stores and couldn't find one, as did my sister and bro-in-law. Then one day my sister and bro-in-law were in a WalMart and while my sister was shopping, my brother-in-law saw someone with one in her shopping cart. He ran back to electronics and asked, and lo and behold, he got the last one. The store received 3 untis that day and he grabbed on of them. I know so many poeple who tried and tried this holiday season and still came away empty-handed...it's a shame that they can't step up production and tease the children with tons of commercials. I hope your brother finds one soon!

A Wii is not important enough to me to stand in line for 1 hour let alone 3 hours. I think it is nice of Nintendo to offer a rain check.

My husband bought one for our oldest son last Christmas. I think he had to wait in line for about 3 hours. We got to Walmart at about 9 and they gave him a number. He had to wait until about 12 before they would start selling them. But he did get one..I am not sure that I would have waited that long though lol. My husband was just determined to get him one :).

We got ours last year, and luckily did not have to wait. My hubby did have a hard time trying to find Guitar Hero 3 for the wii this year, but we got it!

I haven't had a problem getting a Wii, actually I have bought 3 in the past 2 months for under retail price. I have kept one and sold the others, but not for outrageous prices.... I have seen some people trying to sell then for up to $1100, thats just crazy! I don't think I would wait in line to get a Wii, I mean it's a good game system but I am not that crazy over it. I think the Wii is great if you have a bunch of friends over all the time, but thats not the case with me since they are usually at work or in class. I have only used my Wii like 5 times in the last 4 months, I know your probably thinking "why" .... but after you play the same games for hours on end it gets kinda boring and you need to take a break... my break is just a long one, lol. Also my arms were really sore afterward, so I couldn't move that much. People are so crazy about getting the Wii this season, there were 200 people waiting outside Kmart and they had only like 4 or 5 Wii's.
