Just what we DON'T need

On the list of things we DON'T need we can add a powerful volcano eruption snug up against the rapidly melting North pole. As I told you, there's active volcanism down at the South Pole, but this one's up North.

from the map & what I looked up, it looks like there are Alaskan volcanos that are further north than the one erupting in Russia.
the quote says "most northern active volcano IN KAMCHATKA" (emphisist mine) does not make it the most northernly volcano in the world.

But is it the most Northerly blowing at the moment? The volcanoes you mention, they aren't spewing are they?!?

And they say WE are causing global warming. Regardless of who is causing what, I really think they need to do a recalculation.

Especially a recalculation taking in all the vulcanism. There is an increase in the extreme north, extreme south, ring of fire, and under water.

I truly think that halting global warming is the wrong tack for our various governments to be taking, I don't think we CAN halt this. I think the tack we need to take is adaptation before we really hit the skids.

Now that's something I can totally agree with!
We have nothing to do with the weather, and nothing we do can change it.
As we learned from when Mt. Pinatubo erupted, the more volcanic ash in the air, the cooler the temp gets.
Back in the 1800's Mount Tambora erupted causing the year without a summer.
Fact is, that if we do cause all this "global warming" its more likely to send us into another ice age!

It's freezing right now! I'm running the heater right now, something I don't usually do. It's just as well as I'm taking my air conditioner in February to Sears for a fix. It screams. I don't know why, even when I just run the fan...
