I don't eat hamburgers from fast food places all that often. But, we went to BK the other day and I was just hungry. So I order a Whopper Jr. and held the pickels held the tomatores held the onions because it doesn't upset them right (or that was how the song went I think). This hamburger was so puny, I thought they gave me a kids meal. I remember Whoppers being so huge I could never finish so I figure a junior would be perfect. Is the bun getting bigger or the patty getting smaller?

I know McDonalds are definitely smaller in size, I was told that McDonalds measures their burgers in weight and Hungry Jacks measures by actual size....

A McDonalds's cheeseburger patty has a precooked weight of only 1.6 ounces. The patty on a Whopper Jr. is only a little bit bigger, so probably only 2 ounces precooked weight.

that is pretty sad for burgers. We don't have Hungry Jacks unfortunately. Just another reason I don't like fast food I guess. If they didn't have the play areas for the kids and the toys to lure in the kids I would be ok never going again.

I guess with all of the stuff that they put on it, that must help in the size. I can only eat a Whopper Jr. and I have noticed the changes in them, also. I always order no tomatoes and tripple the pickle. I get three pickles. Three pickles. Next time, I am going to tell them to layer the pickles across the bottom so no burger can be seen. If the burger is getting small 'beef' up the condiments, by gosh! The patty is definatly getting smaller.

I'm glad it's not just me and I suffer because I don't like the toppings on it. I guess I could get extra lettuce! thanks.
