Amazing how dogs seem to understand what we say! / myLot

My dog didn't eat the food that was in her dish. She was busy playing. When I went back, I noticed that she still didn't eat her food. I told her, "why didn't you eat your food?". She looked at me and walked towards her plate and started eating. She glanced at me while she was eating. She seemed to say "Alright, I'm eating, I'm eating!" Its just amazing how they seem to understand what we're trying to tell them. Do you get these from your dogs too?

I read somewhere that dogs only understand like 10 words, I don't believe it. My dog knows what these mean: plain cheeseburger, burgerking, look in your bowl(when I give her an unexpected treat), who lives here? she looks out the window and barks, to let everyone know who lives here!lol, and a lot of other ones. Oh dunkin donuts is one of her favorites too lol

yeh I know, I never even thought about this until I heard the lady next door to me speak to her dog in English and in Greek and the dog understands, he is cleverer than me.
