All this talk of spies.

December 21, 2007 7:06pm CST
Back when i was in the service we had a way of dealing with spies. i have read many articles on mylot about spyware and frankly i do not comprehend what you mean. in our day we put johnny forigner up against the wall and shot the cad. but now we talk about buying spyware. why? if he has a dodgy accent shot the spy. it worked in 1945, why not now?

Spywear is used to check what kind of activity you've been doing on your computer & send that information back to the person who sneaked the spywear onto it. Depending on what they get they could even steal your identity & clean out our checking, credit 7 bank accounts. You should run a spywear detector to find & eliminate these on a regular basis.

If you can actually catch the people doing this I'd be happy to help you interrogate them.

This is proper attire for when they don't put their heads on the chopping block willingly.

i think once you sharpen up your dress code you would be a great addition to the free world. torture should always be conducted in smart dress code. much more civilised. it sets us apart from the robe wearers.

Actually, we have multiple methods of handling spyware. Some antispyware agents might lock him up in a "vault" and let him starve. Others cut him limb from limb (e.g. registry entries deleted, drivers deleted, system service modules deleted...). Each have their own method. Personally, I do it like Willy Wonka...I keep the gates locked. No one goes out, no one comes in: http://invincible-windows.blogspot.com/ Anyone who wanders in uninvited has only one place to go...straight to the furnace. When it comes to handling spyware on someone else's machine, I do it the quick way...I run HijackThis and IceSword, and blast any intruders I find. No questions, no prisoners, just body bags to fill. 8-)

Discipline is a must; you can't grow up without it. It's nothing like it used to be. I got plenty of the leather belt as a kid, but I never did taste the switch. All I know about that is what I read in Tom Sawyer (they had hickory twigs). :)

you would be a jolly good addition to the british secret service. no prisoners taken, that is what those ruddy youngsters need, a taste of the birch!

you are funny guys lol Spywares are programs that are installed in people's computers to obtain information and send it back to the spymaster. The info could be sites you browse, e-mail accounts or more harming id theft plots. Computers users are shooting them down when detected ... nothing has changed much ... lol

Well you correct the situation with anti-virus, anti-spyware and anti-hijacking programs. Of course going after the people creating and spreading the garbage would be nice, but it would be harder too. Also not recommended for most people. Still, the spirit is there and it is refreshing.
