Do you use Skype/MSN/Yahoo to call friends?

Thanks to the technology these days, I use Skype regularly to keep in touch with friends and family overseas and when I am travelling. Do you use any of these for voice calls and conferences? Please share your experiences and if you have a preference of one over the other applications. Thanks in advance.

I use voipwise or voipbuster to call my mom backhome because she doesn't have a computer and I can call her land line phone for free with them.
This has really made a difference in the regularity of my calls to her because before I used to only call every other week.
This way, since I can call Portugal for free for 1 hour each day I call much more often:)
