Okay I know my answer is out there somewhere but im to lazy to look for it. Can anyone tell me when these darn repeats are over and I can get my fix of House. As much as I love watching the old episodes I need more. The cravings are killing me.

Read a week or so ago on the forum that the next new episode is slated for January 29th, but that may depend if the strike is settled.

I am not 100% sure, but I believe that was the next episode date prior to the strike happening.

I know exactly how you feel! All the shows are doing this now. What ever happened to a complete season without repeats? Bones is also showing tons of repeats and it's driving me crazy!!!

Most major networks do reruns during the holiday season because many people aren't sitting around watching TV--they are out shopping and visiting family so the ratings aren't as good. This year is much different because of the writer's strike. Most of the big shows that started their season in September are just about out of episodes because they usually only film the first half of the season then take a break and film the rest. Since the writers are on strike there are no scripts to film. They really can't even film the scripts they do have written because they can't do any re-writes or fixes without the writers there. So most shows are on hold for now and the way the strike is going we will be watching reruns until the end of the season, except for the shows that filmed earlier in the year and were slated as mid-season replacements (meaning they start their first episodes in January). So, I guess we all have to just get used to it until the strike is over. Makes TV kind of boring, though.

New episodes start back after the new year but I think there are only 2 or 3 episodes left then it is back to reruns until the writer's strike is over and no one knows when that will be. I have a feeling it is going to be a short season this year.

Nooooooooooooooooo dont say that. This strike has got to end. But on the plus side I do love reality shows also.

Don't forget the episode after the Super Bowl. It will be hard for non football fans to catch it. I know there are several episodes of the show that are new and the end of January is what I'm hearing for a new episode.

I'm no authority on this, but until the writer's strike is settled, don't expect to see many new episodes of anything. Last I heard, the strike talks were not progressing well, and if anything there seemed to be the message that the strike would drag on for a significant period of time.
