I had a good Christmas day - I went to my daughters for Christmas dinner and it was fun. My grandaughter is almost two years old now so this was the first Christmas she was really aware of and she enjoyed every minute of it! It's great having small children around on Christmas day. The meal was lovely, I got some really nice gifts so yes it was fun. I'm glad to hear yours went well too.

Well, our Christmas celebration was very simple. We just ate together and drunk till we drop. My family is not complete this christmas because my sister is in Ivory Coast and my mom is in Germany.

Yeah, after all the hurrying around...its over! Monday we had Christmas Eve at my house, we had snacks and opened gifts with family. Then on Christmas day, my daughters got to see what "Santa" brought them and we went to dinner at my grandmothers. I was so tired from hosting Christmas eve here, and then not being able to sleep good that night (i guess i was overly tired) that i just laid around yesterday! Sounds like you had a great Christmas!

Yes we did have a nice Christmas but i too was tired with all the things that comes before christmas. It is always fun to watch the kiddo's open their presents. We do the same as you, we celebrate on christmas eve and just spend a quiet Christmas day eating and enjoying family. We watched a christmas movie after we ate and i fell asleep in the chair and got a good nap, i think we all just get a little wore out with all the doings haha.

Yes, yes, Christmas is over- yet, I cannot begin to take a breath yet. The next thing that is to come up is valentines day. But regardless, I will sit back and enjoy my Christmas gifts for the next couple of days.

I am glad you had a nice Christmas, we had a nice one over at our son and daughter-in-law's but next time I am going to be a little specific as to what I want. I got a tablecloth and a set of toiletries plus several certificates off on books, cds, plus a movie ticket for my birthday. The reason is that I do not make that much money and so I am the only one who has to spend money to enjoy her present. My husband got two DVds plus on DVd Tv. I did get an electric wok from my husband, but now I have to either return the certificates or exchange them for a gift card from Walmart.

I am glad you had a nice time and we also had a nice time at my daughter too.My kids always ask what i want too and i can never think at the time they ask so they just use their imagination with me.I bought my own present from my hubby, he never buys just tells me to get what i want haha.I got an electric wok one year from my daughter, and i have really used it..You will be able to get what you want with the gift certificates, and now that christmas is over you can probaly get some good sales..Happy 2008 to you.

We spent Christmas day at my parents, whole family (those in Michigan) were there but my daughter only stayed a short time and left, her 'fiance' never even came in, just sat in the car. She did however let the kids stay with me for dinner and they had a great time. I'm glad it's all over though because there is a lot of 'stress' in the family right now.

posting a discussion concerning this tomorrow - she did in fact marry him, New Years Eve. Her father and I neither one attended the ceremony nor the 'dinner' her new husband's family had yesterday.... Very sad and upsetting situation it breaks my heart for her and the kids - my only daughter but I just could not be put in the possition of people thinking I agreed with this marriage.

That sounds great! I love Mr.Bean he is so funny,he never says a word but he can make you laugh until your sides hurt.Thats what we did ,we did not travel either ,just enough to get to my daughter which isn't that far ...We watched the grunge with Jim carrey, and eat until stuffed. We never do anything on New years eve but i hope to find something to do this year..Best wished to you in 2008.
