I'm curious to know the answer to this question. I have a ten year old girl and a 9 month old boy. Which one do you think is easier to raise? Or do you think they're about the same?

No doubt about that. With the age difference, my children have such different needs. I have noticed that girls seem to be "sassier" than boys. Do you agree?

I have one each and my son is a whole lot easier than my girl. Of course she is 10 and it seems like hormones have kicked in. Some days you can't even look at her with out her haveing a heat attack. LOL pay back for when I was a child. My mom always said that it was comming.

I have a girl and a boy. I feel both are easy to raise. The aptitude of boy and girl are different. But i don't find any problem. They are good friends also. There is no problem in my house.I think it is always to have a boy and girl as children because they sahre a lot.

Yes I have one of each and I think boys are... My daughter is 8 and she is very much a girly girl.. I should 7 she is 8 going on 21.. The other day I took to walmart to buy jeans and she was trying them on and she told me she loved the jeans cause it made her butt look bootielousios.. I have no idea where that came from but needless to say we did not buy those jeans = )

initially boy is difficult because they are naturally naughty than girls because they become naughty.

I'm a single dad with 2 girls, 14 and 15. I wouldn't trade them for boys for anything. I've got nephews and friends with boys and spend alot of time with all of them. I see so many things I don't have to deal with that they do. This may be a bias opinion but I truly believe girls are easier. I think they are just easier to talk to and reason with. and the best thing is they don't pee all over the bathroom floor!

Boys are easier because they are low maintaince. Girls like to have clothes that are in fashion all the time. My son is 11 and he is happy with a pair of no name jeans and t-shirts, my 3 girls have to have a certain style of jeans, and certain style of shirts. I am not lookinf forward to when they want to wear make up to school. LOL

It depends on the person and the child, I do not think any child is easy to raise to be honest.

Good answer. I just thought that maybe in other people's experience, one may have been easier than the other. You're so right though.

probably girls because guys can get too tough at time, plus once they start reaching puberty, they will become bigger than the mom

I think girls are harder to raise... parents are always more protective towards their little girls... they don't want them to do bad things like getting pregnant early or whatever... boys are just naturally born to make bad stuff and parents are letting them do that :D

I know from experience, I got into a lot of trouble by following my heart. On the other hand, my brother was more level headed and thought things through. I wouldn't say that's a girl/boy thing, more of a personality issue. I totally agree with you!

They are the same until puberty. At puberty, hormones start to flow. Girls become very moody and boys tend to be immature. I've two sons and one daughter, all three are now adults.
