With the holiday landing on Tuesday.....and us going off to church and having a big meal with family all around I find the rest of the week all mixed up! I had to get up on Wed. and go to work so it seemed like Christmas was a Sunday! LOL.....now I have today off as my boss died on Christmas eve and we have the funeral today...then I work tomorrow and have the weekend off again! It seems like everything is all mixed up! LOL....do you have to stop and think about what day it is when the holiday falls in the middle of the week?

I am so sorry to hear about your boss. The only way I remember what day it is by saying today is whatever day it is.

it is really hard for all to go to work so easily and plan everything when a holiday is in the middle of the week. In my company, there was holiday only on 25th. 24th was a working day as well as 26th. So it wass alittyle tough. But worse is that we do not have holidays on 31st or 1st january. so we can't enjoy new year like we want to.

That is a bummer. I have to work both days too though. It's not a big deal. When I was younger it might have been but not anymore!

Oh yeah, I've had to do that. From Thanksgiving to Christmas. The days just don't 'seem' to fit in the order they are in. I'll think a Monday is a Saturday because it 'feels' like a Saturday. Or I'll ask my dad why he is studying for his sermon, and he'll look at me like I'm nuts. Well, why am I studying, Amber? Because it is Saturday and tomorrow is Sunday. Oh, yeah. I knew that, lol.

Yes......it's a bugger this week. Next week will be better because I won't be going to church in the middle of the week! LOL
