Here in illinois we have some ghetto sodas. We have hehaw in place of mountain dew, Dr pop in place of Mr. pib, is this just Illinois or do all states have brand name and generic named sodas?

The only weird named fizzy pop drink i can think of is "panda pop", which is sold all over the UK. There is a weird named one at certain take away places, but i can't think what the name of the drink is at the moment. Most drinks from local shops are just named things like cola-ade or orangeade. Occasionally they are named apple soda or raspberry ripple soda, but you can only usually buy those flavours from supermarkets. ~Joeys wife

I remember a pop called "Bubble Up" when I was younger in Utah.. but I haven't seen or heard of it since. Are those store brands you are talking about? I've never heard of any of them. lol
