Diarra was first team player in Morinoh's Chelsea-but he comes to Arsenal and now he is on the bench all the time-I thought he was good, why does Wenger sideline him?

Diarra is indeed a good player, but then where is the vacant spot available for him in the Arsenal midfield. We are talking about the likes of Fabregas, Flamini, Rosicky and Hleb. I think Diarra is just a shade off these guys. He had a chance to seal his position when Fabregas was out, but the results show that he was not able to match Fabregas' performances. That is the reason why he is sidelined by Wenger. The latest news on Diarra is that Tottenham is looking to sign the player in the January transfer window. Cheers! Ram

I hope Diarra would keep his head down and work to be a better player. If he does choose to leave i would hope Diaby one of his closest friends there would stay with Arsenal. Im sure they would both be great players in the future but need to keep working on technique and composure before getting into first team. If not they might turn out like David Bentley and look where he is... at Blackburn when he could be playing in the champions league and fighting for a premier league medal.

You are right Wiltord is a major success at Lyon, but the pace at the French league one is much less than the one in EPL and Wiltord could not adjust to this pace, so I guess Wenger was right in allowing him to go. Cheers! Ram PS: Thanks for the best response.

yes i was surprised at first but i realise that every coach have their own gameplan for each match and all they do is look at the skills of each player and consider how they fit into each match plan then they have to decide who starts and who does not, a first team player in one coach"s programm may end up becoming a second half closing minutes substitute in another coach"s plan.but give and take DIARRA IS A GOOD PLAYER ,AM A CHELSEA FAN ANYDAY,DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE NEW SIGNING IN CHELSEA?
