How was your New Year celebration?

Well before I tell you what did I do on New Year's Eve, I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. May all your wish will come true in the coming years...
Anyway, I was working in the middle shift last night, start from 12 noon to 8 pm, so I thought I still can celebrate new year eventhough the next morning I have to work start from 7 am. However things are not running very well. Rain pouring down at 10 pm and I decided to just stay at home watching Daddy Day Care movie.. I eat all chocolate in my fridge and luckily I still have potato chips and coke. As the new year approaching I run upstair to see a firework from balcony as my house is near the beach where almost all hotel and pub along the beach will have a fireworks.. The fireworks was not good because of the rain, so I just say happy new year to myself before my husband called me from his workplace to say happy new year. My cellphone ringing with sms from friends, so after replying, I just went to sleep.
This morning, I am working again. Feeling like I passed New Year without celebrating. My first New Year ever doing nothing. Well I dont feel sad.. I am happy that I passed last year and have all the good things happen to me. Hopefully this year will be good too..

2 Grandchildren spent the night and stayed up until the ball dropped in New York but then no one could get to sleep so at 2 a.m. in the morning grandkids, son, his friend, and I all went out in the snow storm we were having and made snow angels and built a snowman - it was great fun and everyone slept late the next day.

Today when I logged on to mylot I was pretty sure that there would be a lot of questions about the New Years eve and I was not and I was pretty surprised. So thanks for asking. I went to a party organized by some friends of my boyfriend and it was very nice. I was dancing the whole night and all the people were very friendly.

I got 2 complimentary tickets for new year party at one of the biggest night club here, but I decided to sell it so i can make more money, however I missed the dance and people said it is one of the most amazing party..

Thanks for sharing. I am always curious if you are in a different country than mine; (I am in the middle of America; Minnesota). We are getting old I guess, and I made several kinds of fudge to take to the big party we will attend tomorrow-our yearly New Years day party.
My husband keeps busy eating said fudge. He will make his chilli to bring along tomorrow, too.
