We Are Connected Again (I Hope!)

This has been a very difficult couple of weeks for me. I have been trying so hard to come to MyLot and respond to friends' discussions as much as I can, but since
the email fiasco that I created by sending MyLot email to "SPAM" from my Yahoo mail it has been almost impossible.
I never realized how much I depended on those emails to keep track of each of my friends. (I remember when MyLot first added this feature and how some of us grumbled because we had too much mail - and yeppers! I was one of them!).
I started a discussion here trying to figure out how to get MyLot back in my in-box - Thanks for all of the suggestions but no luck!
I wrote a question to Yahoo 360, but no one answered. Again - no luck.
I sent a note to MyLot and I have not heard from them yet but I couldn't wait any longer.
I opened a new Yahoo Mail Account! Why didn't I think of that in the first place? Now with a bit of magical luck all of my friends will once again be where they are supposed to be and I will be able to respond the way a good friend does. I have most certainly missed you all ~Donna

Well, welcome back! I see you've resolved the problem, but let's take it one step further. Set up a folder for your myLot responses using the filter option. This way not only will they be organized into their own realm, but I don't think the "spam" button is in the list of options in a folder. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for popping in here! I have so missed you! That was how I was managing while I was not getting emails; but it was very slow and since my brain has even less memory than my computer, I couldn't remember where to check today for the comments that I made yesterday and I was just totally confused and I was never able to get to all of my friends and it totally frustrated me and I just wanted to give up! But - that's all over now, so in just a few minutes there is something that I want to look for at Amazon and seeing your avatar reminded me of that. I will be seeing you again as soon as I finish answering these replies ~Donna

Thats a wonderful idea. A Group of "Old Hags", we can be charter members, hehe. I have always loved the "purple" poem too. I am going to have to email you a picture of me and my "boyfriend" then you will know what I look like. I can imagine the picture of me you have in your head. Its a scary thought, I probably look just like you think. I will give you a hint. You have seen me in "my video" and you have seen my avatar. Put them both together and walla, its me.

Oh that must have sucked!
I didn't realize it would be so much trouble with yahoo!
With gmail it's really easy to fix that.
I accidentally spammed my cousin once - but I went into my spam folder and it checked it as not spam.
Glad your around - I'm starting to get caught up now on my mylotting LOL.

Well I haven't really started any discussions but I'm so backed up on my friends discussions. I've got about 200 in my inbox!! I just haven't felt like being on here lately...now I'm paying the price LOL.

Oh good grief GG, were you behind too? Maybe we can work in cycles. I can answer some of your questions and you can answer some of mine? In theory it sounds really good; but in practice it doesn't really sound workable. I do, however, so love your avatar. She makes me feel like all will be okay with the world. ~Donna

its nice taht again you are connected with your myliot friend. Sometimes we make a mess and all is lost. I think again you will be able to be very much active here in mylot and also keep contact woth fellow mylotters. Happy new yr to you.

Oh well thats great.i never thought of that either, sorry we were not much help...Be very careful and try not to delete again.I have made mistakes like that myself when i was in a hurry, but so far not on this site...I am glad you got it all back and now you are all fixed up.It is good to have you back Donna...we missed you too!

There is simple step that you can do. Add Mylot to your address book. This way your emails will never go to spam box. I am happy that you are connected again.

polachicago, MyLot was added to my address book, but it was late at night, my eyes were bleary, and I was going through a ton of emails and trying to take care of them one at a time. For some unknown reason I opened one from MyLot, read it, but decided it was not one that I wanted to respond to (sometimes it's a topic that I can't intelligently answer and I never just put down an answer just to make "money points"). After making that decision I meant to hit "delete", but instead hit "SPAM". Immediately I knew what I did and was mortified. As you read in my discussion, I tried every resource I could to remedy the situation and this is the one I finally came up with. I will not be doing it again - I am very sure of that! I have missed my friends way too much. ~Donna

congratulations, dont get lost in the shuffle again we missed you far to much, so how is everything going I missed ya terribly, I thought perhaps you were dismissed as another of my friends was. But that is neither here nor there. You are back and we are extremely happy about it.

Yeah I see what you mean, I have been moving up in posts and trying to make sure everyone has four lines or more so that I can make more money. I am hoping that I am on track to make my goal of fifteen hundred a month. I know that seems like a lot but I would like to prove that writing on line or working at home is a benefit to people who cannot work or are stay at home moms.
