All of us have a dream job, dream salary, dream family, etc. but the question is are we preparing for it? what if it becomes true today?

For me it was my dream job, and I was lucky enough to be hired this past May! Was I ready for it, you bet. I had been training and studying for over 9 years. I was lucky enough to have some top names in the field to add as references. So, I spent the last 7 months of 2007 working at my dream job, I'm on leave now, and will go back in mid-March, you see my dream job is a seasonal wildland firefighter for the forestry service.

good for you. i believe that if we have a dream we should prepare for it, who knows it might come true today. as the saying goes... "Be careful what you wish for...It might come true." ...and you get it unprepared. thanks for your reply.
