Is it just me, or did Barack Obama sound like he was trying to mimic Martin Luther King's inflections and mannerisms in the "I Have a Dream" speech?

That is one of the reasons I don't like him. He takes the "I'm black" card a bit too far. I shudder to think what might happen if he actually wins.

I just think it's funny that he beat the wife of "the First African American President". ;~D

I'm not usually into politics, but the few times I've seen him give interviews he worries me. He's so general in everything he says it's hard to figure out what his agenda is.

Of course he's general about everything, if he got specific we'd be able to make an informed choice for or against him.

Now that he is very popular people are starting to read all sorts of things into what he does or says. It isn't even clear to me that he will win the democratic leadership, and after that there is still the obstacle of the presidential race. A long way to go still, and a lot can happen.

Yup, a lot can happen between now and then. The thing is, up until now part of his charm was that he seems to be himself when he speaks. That speech was completely UnObama in delivery.
