How do you earn online?

I've just lost my job and would appreciate some help from more experienced online workers.
I'm trying to earn money online (I'm aiming for approx £70 a week) and I was wondering, how do other people do it?
I've set up a small business on ebay and joined MyLot but I was wondering, how do other people manage it? Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Anyone got any success stories or horror stories?
You would be helping a poor, straving student!

I earn a minimum of $75 a week but I work online sometimes 16 hours a day when possible. Also I am in the US so more opportunities are available although I think the UK isn't a bad place to earn from.
Check my website at my profile under my name for some beginner sites to start earning. I can message you later with more options depending how many hours a day you are willing to building online income.
