babies like commercials

When I was a baby, my mom and dad recorded many TV commercials on a tape and I often watched it. I notice many babies nowadays, they like watching TV commercials too.
Is that really how it goes? I mean that's what I only noticed about babies and commercials so far.:)
They get so happy, giggling all over and even jumping for joy!:)

It's not so much the commercial as it is the movement that attracts the kids, especially babies. Babies don't see so good so anything that you put in front of them and move it fast, will get their attention. If you rattled a toy rattle in front of them for half an hour they would watch it the same way as they watch TV, depending on how young you are talking about.

Well, you gotta admit, some of those commercials are pretty funny! And babies are so innocent anyways!

Yeah... I've noticed it to. My 1-year-old niece was visiting and it was tiring going after everywhere she went, exploring the things she shouldn't be touching. But when we decided to turn the TV on, it was like it hypnotized her. She quietly sat close to the television set and didn't move any inch until the commercials were over. I've got to admit, even as an adult I too stop and get hypnotized by the commercials from time to time.
