In your opinion, should a resume have just one page? Can a resume have two pages?

Well i personally always learn to make it one page.Maybe they want it because when lot of people send their resume with two pages it's a lot to read. But i do think a resume can be two pages.

it depends on the applicant and the position he/she will apply. if the applicant is a fresh college or university grad without any job experiences yet and applying for lower positions then it is preferred to have your resume in one-page. however if you are applying for managerial positions with work experiences of course it is necessary to add extra pages for your resume. Human resources department is the department who is responsible for scanning resumes of applicants. of course there are a lot of people applying for lower positions comparing to applicants for higher positions. the more the applicants the faster they need to assess those resumes. sometimes they are just reading the first page of the resume rather than reading the next page if they are really busy. in assessing for applicants supervisory and managerial positions that will be a different story.

i think a resume can very well have 2 pages. there is no harm in it as i guess. but the resume should be brief and easy to read.

i feel it depends on the field you are in. an engineer can have a resume up to 6 pages long. my personal resume remains at 1 page though, i am an admin and dont feel that employers care that much about history as they do skills. what fields do you think can have more than a one page resume?

In my opinion, it should have atleast 2 pages for the margins especially when you have to input all your work experiences there for you to qualify in the postion.
