My new outfit

Since we didn't get to go to the Grand Canyon, my mother in law took me shopping instead. I love going out to her house,because she has all these stores that I don't.
Today, I'm wearing one of my new outfits. Here is the funny thing about it. I bought the jacket and the pants in a totally seperate store, not the same store, and not even in the same town. They are totally different brand names even.
But they are the exact same color and the exact same material and the pants and jacket look like they were bought together.
I came home and put them with one of my favorite purple button up shirts, and Voila! I have a new outfit.
Ever found something that looks like it should have been a matched set at two different stores?

I have had that happen. I think what happens is that they come from the same bolt of cloth, and the stuff is made in a factory. I worked in a tailoring place when I was in my twenties. They would cut a bolt into jackets, pants, or skirts. They would put labels on them to go to one store, and labels on them to go to another store, so what happens is that both stores get their clothes from the same wholesaler, thus they match.

ah...that makes sense. I know that many times, you would see the same types of things at two different stores. I really perfer Eddie Bauer clothing line. Their colors do not fade like some of the others do. the only problem is that their pants are always way too long for me, so I have to stick to their shirts and sweaters and jackets.

we have many great shops here where I live because it is a tourist town, and they want to make sure that they have the tools to attract the wives of the men who come here to go to the race track. But going to New Mexico where my inlaws live give me a whole new set of stores and it's great. She likes coming here for the same reason.
