How do you wake up in the morning?

I need the alarm clock to be able to wake up on time. I place it where I could not be easily able to reach it. That means I need to stand up to turn it off since the sound really annoys me. When I used to live with my parents, I would ask my mom to wake me up since she wakes up ahead of everybody in the house. So how do you wake up every morning?

I wake up when I need to wake up. I'm awake around 7AM in the morning then I go on to start off my day. I hate using alarm clocks - hearing the beep annoys me it's like I'd want to wake up, get a sledge hammer and smash the thing. It's like a sound that drive a person insane. So If I set an alarm clock I'd make sure it is music playing, but not too loud. I tend to get grumpy at times if I am woken up at a bad start.

I don't usually need an alarm clock unless I am sick or very tired. Somehow I tend wake up at the right time even if it's not my usual time. When I do need the alarm I am very particular. It cannot be too loud or I will wake up with a big headache. That's why alarm clock don't usually work for me they're extremely loud. I set up the alarm on my cell phone and set it up to low . I also have no use to a repetition clock because I wake up at the first ring and don't get back to sleep, so that snooze button has no interest to me. If I do set up an alarm I usually set it up to the exact time I need to wake up. Hubby on the other hand, sets it up for at least half an hour before and then keeps alternating from falling back asleep and hitting the snooze button until it's the right time to wake up. Sometimes it bothers me a lot, because he is to wake up a few hours before me and I end up waking up anyways with all the noise LOL

I wake up to my husband's alarm clock every morning. Though right now I am waking up to the telephone ringing because we are in the hotel for 3 weeks on his trip with him. He just asks for a wake-up call now. I like that so much better than the alarm! I hate alarms! We get up and eat breakfast with him (my daughter too)then after he leaves for work we stay up and play and watch cartoons for a little while. Then we go back to sleep. The next time we wake up is either when my husband comes home for lunch, or whenever the baby decides to wake up. Whichever comes first.

I do need nothing! Everyday, I'm able to wake up when I have to without any help...thanks to my biological clock (and to a regular lifestyle)

Me too, I need an alarm clock to wake me up especially in weekdays when I need to work and wake-up so early. I have a radio alarm clock and my cellphone alarm on. Just in case, the radio alarm clock doesn't work. I don't use alarm clock when it's weekend. I just like to sleep long.

If I do not turn on the alarm clock I may not be seen for three days, LOL. I have to set the alarm clock. Even to take a nap or to simply relax and read a book. If I doze off, there is no telling when I may come around again.

I have two alarm clocks. One goes off first and has a snooze button on it. Sometimes I press this and then go back to sleep in which case my second alarm clock will ring loudly. If I get up when the first alarm clock goes off I turn the second one off. I am a morning type person so I like to get up quit early. I prefer the summer time when it is warm and light when I get up. I hate the winter when it is cold and dark. When I was a child my mum let the cat in my room. She jumped up on my bed and greeted me. That was a lovely way to wake up. Nowadays if I hear my dogs barking before my alarm goes off it is is not so good.

my son wakes usually wakes me up in the morning. He wakes up at the same thing everyday and then yells at the top of his lung until I sprong him from his crib. Aww the joy of parenting a one year old. I love it though. Before he came along, I used an alarm clock to get up in the morning.

If I need to wake up at a certain time, I use the alarm clock. If I don't need to worry about the time, I just wait to wake up when I wake up.

I also use my mobile as my alarm, which can be a problem sometimes. firstly because I sometimes forget to recharge it! Or to turn it off silent - a vibrating phone isn't the world's greatest wake up call. also if i'm really tired I get so used to the tune that I ignore it completely and hear it in my dreams instead. :) But most mornings I do wake up with it, after hitting the snooze buttons a few times... But I've 'trained' myself not to turn it off until I'm totally awake and already up..otherwise I'll be late!

I usually use the alarm clock on my cell phone. It's close to me so I do run into a problem sometime of waking up and turning it off while still laying there and then I fall back asleep. It doesn't happen much so I continue to do it. Other times I get my fiancee to wake me up when I know she will be up. But my favorite thing is when I don't have anything planned and I can just lay there until I wake up on my own, it's the best feeling.
