Anyone use a Wifi modem for around there house? If so what modem do you have and how well does it work? Also how far away can you go before it starts to loose connection? I have seen some really good ones out there , but mostly the best way to improve connection is by using devices that can attract the signals better.

I have a Lynksis modem on our DSL connection at home. I have not had any connection issues with it as of yet. I can go outside, upstairs, anywhere in the house. I have been able to work on either patio as well. I would say that it is a good choice.

Airport Express - WiFi base station from Apple - very convenient to save space and keep cables controlled.
I use the AirPort Express from Apple, easy to use and set-up, doesn't use much space and helps to control the cables around the house. I can use my computer anywhere in the apartment without a problem, that's less than 10 meters from it.
