One of my cats died ;(

One of my cats we had been taking care of after it had been injured by a dog was starting to get better and his wounds were healing up and 2-3 days ago he broke one of his legs and couldn't walk almost at all.He stopped eating and drinking and at about 6 am this morning he was screaming in pain for like 15 mins.After he stopped and went back to sleep(and yes he was breathign atm) I went to bed and when i woke up my sister said he was dead and in his sleep he appears to have rolled over and his head went in the water bowl :(.I told my sister i think he lost the will to live :(.
