When do you lie?

some people just like to lie..i don't know why since the truth isn't always that bad...i tell little lies also sometimes...to avoid some unwanted situations maybe..or to prevent the truth being missunderstood,so i use a little lie...like when you are only 14 and you tell your parents you go out wirh your friends but in fact you are having a date hihi...

i'm not good at it so i seldom do. the very few times i did, i can't even do it right (too obvious), so i'd rather not.
