I didn't, it is just one of my favorites to make..Unfortunately your picture show a better looking pie, because I could never get my crust to look that neat, but it taste awesome..:p

Oh thanks for the invite. Well I bought a delicous double chocolate cake with alot of whipped cream on the top! And of course you cant have cake without ice cream! So Ive got it covered.LOL So where is everyone?

I'll bring Red Velvet cake it's one of my favorites. I haven't had it in a long time. I'll probably also bring some other kind of food because although I do have a monster sweet tooth I think all these sweets may be a little too much so I'll bring some taco dip that everyone loves as well.

Hi heavenschild,What a great idea, and we can't even start the party until you get home. The 'natives are getting restless,' or at least, Grandpa Bob is. Since he arrived early, I've sent him out for coffee. I hope you don't mind. I'm bringing 'my daughter's' infamous 'chocolate, caramel, pecan cake, with vanilla ice cream, to go along with it. I've also got an extra piece of cheesecake here for Grandpa Bob, just in case he can't wait.:)

You're welcome, heavenschild. They're a hard bunch to handle, and as you can see, Grandpa Bob ate too much cake. Don't worry Grandpa Bob, from what I've seen you're in great shape, so you can afford to indulge once in awhile.:)

Oh heaven now you have got me started and I don't know what to bring so I will bring as much as I can carry! Hers's the carrot cake , the Rhubarb, the apple and the pear crumble, fruit pavlova, banana fritters, ice cream Sundae, cheesecake with grapes on top, some strawberries and ice cream and I am struggli9ng - I still have a kitchen full of sedderts and no way to bring them along! xxxx

Now that looks delicious! Think I have regained all 2 1/2 stone that I had lost in the last 7 months in about 10 minutes flat! lol Oh by the way the parents night went far better than I expected (even though I was confident he was doing very well) and I was glad to see your post and realise you got home safe and sound!
